Grounded in knowledge. Guided by curiosity. Inspired by possibility.
I bring together movement, nutrition, lifestyle guidance, energy work and natural rhythms to support people in feeling stronger, healthier and more connected with themselves.
My approach combines practical guidance and structure with curiosity, compassion, encouragement and a healthy dose of humour! Whether we're building foundations for better health, exploring energy and self-awareness, or bringing both together, my aim is to help you discover ways of caring for yourself that feel meaningful, enjoyable and sustainable.
A little about me.
Hi, I'm Lisa. From how we eat to how we learn, work and live, we've been conditioned in so many ways to believe life should look a certain way. Too often, we hand our power over instead of listening to what's true for us. I challenge that!
Who says getting older means getting weaker? Who says looking after ourselves has to be complicated, restrictive or downright miserable? And who says strength and sensitivity, or science and spirituality, can't happily coexist?
For a long time, though, I was an over-giver, with very little sense of who I was or what I was capable of. My peacekeeping Libra Moon was firmly in charge, and my fiery Aries Sun barely got a look in!
The day I said "yes".
"What is a triathlon?" I asked, when I was invited to enter a local event. I was a complete novice at swimming, cycling and running, equally daunted and excited, and before I knew it, a "yes" had come out of my mouth. True to my nature, I committed wholeheartedly. But in time I realised that what I'd really said yes to was me. That was a pivotal point in my life.
At the time I was a full-time teacher, at a low point, with a life that had fallen out of balance. Sport became my way back. I felt first-hand what good nutrition, regular exercise in the beauty of the Cornish countryside and the simple joy of learning something new could do for how I felt. I began to find balance, to grow, and to rediscover my sense of self, and in 2005 I stood on the start line of my first Ironman.
Rising high.
What began as a personal challenge quietly became something extraordinary. I took on Ironman despite being told I wouldn't finish, discovered I thrived over the longer distances and, with commitment, determination and the valued support of others, found myself on start lines I could never have imagined: representing Great Britain at age-group World and European Championships, racing twice at the iconic Kona Ironman, completing 12 Ironman-distance races and breaking the sub-11-hour barrier. In cycling time trials I held the South West 50-mile women's title for three years running, and was proud to be sponsored by a leading sports nutrition brand, even making the front cover of Functional Nutrition magazine.
But the greatest thing I gained wasn't a finish line - it was a different relationship with myself and my body, one that has deepened over the years. Having struggled with food in my twenties, I came to see that if I wanted my body to do extraordinary things, I needed to care for it in return. That sense of reciprocity sparked my fascination with exercise physiology, nutrition and natural health.
Strength isn't always about pushing harder.
Sometimes it's about resting, letting go, speaking up or having the courage to choose a different path.
My journey has taken me from modern languages teaching and engagement work with young people into personal training, naturopathic health and nutrition, and holistic weight management coaching. Becoming a mother in 2015 brought me closer to myself, and shone a light on what matters most to me. Since then, through life's unexpected turns, I've found my way to energy work, ritual and a deepening connection with nature, and they've become part of my life and my work. They may seem like different worlds, but to me they're all part of exploring what it means to be human.

What lights me up.
Movement remains one of my greatest joys. It's how I ground myself, find presence, challenge myself and sometimes release what I've been holding onto. I love making movement accessible and enjoyable, helping people discover what their bodies can do but, just as importantly, how good it can feel to move.
I'm also endlessly curious about the deeper layers of life, the things that lie beneath the everyday. Energy work, astrology, ritual and the rhythms of the moon have opened up whole new ways of understanding myself, and I love sharing that sense of wonder with others.
I'm a giggler, I'm always up for a bit of fun, and I'm quite happy to laugh at myself. I take your wellbeing seriously, but that doesn't mean we have to take ourselves seriously all the time.
My qualifications and experience are the foundations of my work, but it's the people who light me up. I love listening, understanding, encouraging and championing others, and seeing someone become stronger, find their voice, grow in confidence or experience something they never thought possible.
What I believe.
Thriving isn't about doing everything perfectly. It's about living more fully, more consciously, and with the peace and joy that comes from no longer feeling shackled. I believe in challenging limitations without imposing impossible expectations, in guidance without domination, and in personal responsibility without shame. I believe our bodies deserve care, curiosity and respect, and that there should always be room for laughter, play, connection and the simple joy of being alive.
Let's find the glimmers, champion one another and see how far the ripples travel.

You already have everything you need within you. Sometimes you just need someone to help you see it.
